AP Government and AP Environmental Science students were placed in mixed groups that represented different interest groups from Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. The main issue debated concerned the 2008 limitations on Georgia’s water supply from Lake Lanier. Students were to research their standpoints and then hold the meeting, presenting their proposals on the issue and answering questions posed by Congressional members.
