Cross Country Looks to Dominate

Among the fall sports off to a solid start this season is the cross country team. While they only had a handful of meets so far, they are already a force to be reckoned with. The boys gave it their all to finish with a large margin of victory at the Great Falls Invitational. While some complications arose for the team when key runners did not get to race, Greg Petruncio, senior, feels that this can still be a good season for the team.
“I feel much better because we are a much stronger team this year, and we are running a lot harder and faster,” Petruncio said. “The one meet where all of varsity raced, we won.”
Cross country will be given their first real shot to prove themselves as contenders on September 21, their first meet against Concorde District teams.
